Summer at Sandy Spring offers a variety of fun and exciting Specialty Camps, ranging from the exhilaration of climbing and sliding along ziplines at the Adventure Park (the nation’s largest aerial park), the joy of electrifying theater performances, the development of skill and budding fashion design inherent in learning the craft of sewing, to the thrill of athletic competition in various sports. The camp day runs from 9:00am-3:30pm, but each specialty camp is a half-day program, so campers can choose two camps to attend for the week! These specialty programs have enriched curriculums, so while campers will get the fullest and best experience with additional time in these camps, they will not be swimming or participating in theme week events.
